The beginning of the new year inspired me to write this blog article, because I always start the year with renewed strength and motivation.
Many people don't like this, they think it's forced, but closing the old year and welcoming the new year gives me a boost. Maybe it's because for years now I've been really closing, letting go, summarizing my previous year and welcoming, "planning" the new one. The YearCompass , which I will fill out this year as well (I'm not done with it yet, but I'm not in a hurry :)), is a big help in this. I put the planning of the new year in quotation marks because for me it is more about the formulation of my desires and dreams that I want to realize. It's a kind of ritual for me, I love it and it gives the atmosphere of the beginning of the year.

Of course, there are always desires, dreams and plans that do not come true, and there are also those that were not described at the beginning of the year, but they came and came true. This should not be taken seriously, just like the planning of the weeks and everyday, especially not with two small children. It took me years, two children, starting a craft business and a lot of self-reflection to accept this. It still bothers me sometimes when things don't come together the way I want them to.
On the other hand, I still like approx. to see in advance what my tasks are, what I want to do. I write these down, I keep them in mind. It gives me security, and without it I don't really progress effectively. I forget... :D Of course, the primary framework for me in everyday life is the children, their agendas and needs and joint programs. I always think in terms of a week, I don't think it's worth planning further in detail, but writing a daily list didn't work for me either. It was just frustrating if I had to constantly write one task for the next day, then the next day. If I manage to tick off most of my weekly list, that's success for me. For me, organization currently consists of this: writing a weekly list, prioritizing the most important tasks, working in accordance with the children's agenda (bedtime and evening), asking for help if necessary. No hourly schedule, specific fixed daily tasks.
I admit that last year I didn't manage to do many things that I wanted to do in relation to work. However, I learned to be patient. I can be patient with almost everything and live with it, enjoy the process. That's not procrastination, that's different. To feel the difference between procrastination and patience with ourselves. There are also things in my personal life that I want to change. Slowly, step by step, I develop and incorporate new habits that serve me. It is the same with ideas and novelties related to jewelry. Patiently, step by step and learning, I will implement the following. With two small children, it's simply not possible - I can't - to develop in my business any other way.

Back to planning: I made a weekly planner, in which I broke the week down into days, but I don't think this should be taken strictly. However, you can see your weekly tasks in one place, it's okay if you manage to complete a task on Friday instead of Wednesday. In addition, there were two important questions that I have been focusing on recently. One is aimed at self-love, and the other at do you know what you can be happy about in your life? It's okay if there are weeks when you can't answer them, it will always get better and better. :) I will send the planner by e-mail to all subscribers, if you want to receive it, you can subscribe here by scrolling down. I will not bother you with unnecessary newsletters in the future either, you will always receive something extra. ;)
